Mission Statement To provide exceptional value and customer service to our consignors and customers by providing a convenient, safe, and effective venue for buying and selling previously owned quality home furnishings and décor on consignment. Furniture must be stylish, in good condition, clean and in an acceptable style to our purchasers. Our goal is to provide the finest in pre-owned home furnishings and accessories for our customers. We will only accept items that we believe will sell quickly. Consignors may bring in their items or a photo of them directly to the store. A consignment period is 90 days. Downtown Design and Consign will price your merchandise (your approval on larger items) to provide you fair market value, while also offering value to our customers. We apply the following price adjustment schedule. 1st 30 day period-Your consigned items are displayed and offered for sale at fair market pricing. 2nd 30 day period-Merchandise that has not sold will be reduced to 20% off the original price. 3rd 30 day period-If the items are not sold they will be reduced another 30%. The consignor is responsible for tracking the 90 day consignment period for articles they want returned in the rare event that the merchandise has not been sold. Consignors receive 60% of the selling price.
